Hello!
I have one more project to share with you today...
This is a card I created using a sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap along with Pink Fresh Dream On:

Here is the fun sketch:

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

An Easter Layout

Hey there!
I am back to share an Easter layout I made this morning using a sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap. I used a variety of products on this layout of Sierra- Bella Blvd., Echo Park and KaiserCraft papers. I also used a cut file from Paper Issues and some stickers from Paper House.

I added some watercolors to my background along with a messy stitched circle. For my title, I used the cut file from PI and added a 3D sticker from Paper House.

I added some egg stickers from Paper House and the bunny is from the same PI cut file along with the egg border.

More egg stickers and cut files.

Here is the sketch:

I love how soft and pretty this layout came out!

Cherish: Creative Embellishments

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
It's my day up on the Creative Embellishment Blog!
I am sharing a sweet layout of our dog, Bender, who we had to put down in November. I love this photo my daughter took of him a few summers ago and decided to scrap it on a layout and frame it for her.

I used a Circle Doodle Frame, added Gesso and inks, and framed the photo. I inked a frond from the Frond Set 5 and added that to the top of my frame. I topped it off with a piece of Seagrass that I added modeling paste for texture. Once it was dry, I sprayed it with a few different green mists:

In the lower right hand corner, I added another piece from the Frond Set 5 and another piece of Seagrass. I also added some gauze, colored with mists and a butterfly:

For the title, I used the word "Cherish" from the Moments Word Set and colored it with inks. I also added the cute "Keep on Waggin'" flair from the Happy Tails Flair:

Finally I added some Gesso and inks to some of the Rings For So Many Things and placed them randomly on my page.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Play

Hey there!
I am here to share a layout and  tutorial on how to make fun foil embellishments that I have up on the ScraPerfect Blog today.
Here's the layout I created:

I machine stitched circles on my white cardstock background and then added watercolors using the packaging technique. I used rub-ons and a variety of stickers for my title:

I added the foiled stars and sequins around the stitched circle. I also added a rub-on from my stash:

I applied the sequins using Embellie Gellie. This works awesome as the sequins stick to the Gellie at the end of the stick and come off when you stick it to a dot of the Best Glue Ever. I always have the No Clog Writing Cap on my bottle since I am gluing small objects or spaces:

Here is another close up:

To create the foiled stars, I had some cardstock stars that were sitting on my desk from a cut file I cut a few months ago along with ScraPerfect's Transfer Foil. Please stop by the ScraPerfect blog and check out my tutorial!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Happy Monday!
Just wanted to pop in real quick and share a layout I created using some goodies from Creative Embellishments and the Put The Petal to the Metal challenge over at Paper Issues.

I created my background using acrylic paints and an old credit card. The cut file is from Paper Issues. I glued it down in a few spots and then added some machine stitching. The "Thrive" chipboard is from Creative Embellishments. I heat embossed it in yellow.

I added a bird house also from CE and colored it with an ink pad. I added some Petaloo flowers and a flair from CE

I added another flair with some tangled thread:

The photos were taken last summer in my backyard.
This isn't one of my favorite layouts.... I think I should have added some stamping to my background.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Back To Nature

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
I am looking forward to camping season this summer and decides to use some camping photos for the new Sketches In Thyme sketch. I used Echo Park Happy Camper for this fun page:

I added watercolor to my background. I just love the look it adds!
Check out that cute fox! Isn't he adorable?!I popped the fox, fire and sign stickers up using foam tape to add some dimension. The "Wild & Free" wood veneer is from  my stash.

I fussy cut the "Back to Nature" and tree from the papers in this collection.

I added my journaling onto paper strips. I haven't done that in a long time.

Here is the fun sketch by Bev Code:

Lovely- Creative Embellishments

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using some fabulous Creative Embellishment chipboard pieces and Simple Stories Life In Color.
Sierra was on Homecoming Court last year. A few days before the Homecoming dance, we have a big parade and the court rides in convertibles. This is a tradition. It's so much fun!
I love this photo of her and David. You can see the excitement on her face!

I covered the Berry Frame 3 with a coat of Gesso and then when that was dry, I added inks.  The word "Lovely" is from the Girl Word Set. The word "happy" is from the Small Sentiment Words. These are perfect for adding sentiments to cards as well. I heat embossed both the words in black to make them stand out.

I added a bunch of flowers from my stash along with a few small branches cut on my Silhouette. I also added in some of the Simple Stories embellies:

Here I added a few more embellishments to create another cluster.

I added Gesso and ink to this butterfly from the Butterfly Set. I love the colors and it is so pretty!

Of course, I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere all the chipboard and some of the papers. Love that stuff!
Nicolle has lots of fun chipboard pieces, flair, stamps and stencils in the store. Go check them out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Pastel Cards

Hello and happy Monday!
There's a new challenge up at Cards In Envy today! The challenge is to use only pastel colors on your card. I don't have a lot of pastel papers in my stash, but did find this older Springtime collection from Echo Park in my stash and decided to use that.

I just layered a bunch of papers and stitched them together. I fussy cut the "thanks" from one of the papers and popped it up with craft foam, added some tangled thread, a few fussy cut flowers and  a few butterfly stickers.
Here's a close up:
