Sketch-N-Scrap

Happy Friday Friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap along with Shimelle True Stories and some Webster Pages alphas.
The kids bought me a flower basket for Mother's Day last year and of coarse, I had to take a pic of it!

I added some cork hearts, a fussy cut flower, a sticker and that cute wood button:

I used some watercolor to create my background:

Those Webster Pages alpas were perfect! I added stitching to give texture:

Play

Happy hump day!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap.
I added some memorabilia to this layout- Sierra was in a play last year and I had to include this on my page.

I used mostly American Crafts on this page with a few odds and ends from my stash.

I created a pocket by stitching to hold the memorabilia:

Hello

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the January 15th Stuck?! sketch along with a stash challenge at Turtle Soup to use 6x6 paper pads to create your page.
I used Crate paper Craft Market with a few fussy cut clocks from a Robin's Nest paper for this page of Sierra and I:

I created my background using watercolors and spatters of gold and black mists. Then I started layering papers and embellies:

Here you can see one of the fussy cut clocks and check out that wood and gold hello piece, love it! I did add a few word stickers from Autentique:

This is the top cluster:

White on White

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a card for today's challenge at Cards In Envy.
The challenge is to create an A2 white card, any theme as long as they are mostly white.
I took a piece of white cardstock and dry embossed it using my Cuttlebug. I then added half a white doily along with a flower cut file that I stitched in white also. I topped it off with a "love" Memorydex Tab from Pink Paislee and some white ribbon:

This is the second time I have done anything white on white and both times I have loved the outcome! It's so elegant! I need to remember to do this more often.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Project 12 Cover Page

Hello and happy Sunday!
I am once again hosting Project 12 over on the Turtle Soup forum this year. I posted the cover page challenge yesterday and just wanted to share my page here.
I used the January challenge over at the 123 Challenge Blog and created this layout:

I used a Heidi Swapp stencil along with yellow and orange mists to create my background.
Here are a few close ups:

I used some old chipboard numbers from my stash and added Gesso to them. Once that was dry, I ran them through my Cuttlebug for some texture. I colored them with Gelatos and then added the black stitching with a marker. I added those numbers to the top of a few doilies.

Most of the items I used are from my stash- flowers, brads, Heidi Swapp Words colored with a red Gelato and October Afternoon mini alphas. I also added the wood veneer "Smile" from Evalicious.

Here is the challenge over at the 123 Challenge Blog:

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Let It Snow!

Happy Monday!
Where oh where did the weekend go?!
Today I am sharing a page I created using a few cut files from Paper Issues along with Basic Grey Juniper Berry and the January Stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash.
I used the colors red, blue and black from the inspiration photo at Scrap Our Stash.
I cut the snowflake background and added watercolor to it:

I added some layers and tangled thread. I used gelatos to color the red stars:

I also did some stitching and cut the title in red:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Winter Card

Hey there scrappy friends!
It's finally winter here in Wisconsin- some snow on the ground and the cold has finally arrived. We have a high of 8 today. Brrr!
I was inspired to play along with a card sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap this morning because of the cold and of coarse, their sketch.
I used some older Echo Park papers and came up with this:

Here is the sketch:

Fun!

Hey there!
Happy Friday!
Today I am sharing a layout I made using the January 1st sketch at Stuck?! along with January 6th Crash Your Stash challenge to use stickers at Turtle Soup.
I used Simple Stories and some pics of Austin roasting a marshmallow to make a smore while camping this summer:

Here are some close ups:

I fussy cut the "Fun" banner and added some leave stickers and popped up the acorn with foam tape:

I used one of the bingo cards, a compass sticker and then fussy cut the trees and sign and layered them:

Here I fussy cut another tree and used some more of the leaves and acorn stickers:

Here is the sketch:

Shiny New Year!

Hello Scrappy Friends!
It's the first Monday of the month, that means a new challenge is up at Cards In Envy!
The first challenge of the year is to create an A2 card with this theme:
New Year Cards or cards that have sparkle and shine.
I used a cut file from Basic Grey and cut it out on my Cameo. I then added Heidi Swapp Gold Shine Mist to the cut file and then stitched it on my layers of cardstock, orange striped patterned paper and gold star vellum. I took a black marker to the letters to make them pop a bit more. Finally, I added a puffy, gold Evalicious star and the "noted" puffy sticker:

The card is a bit more shinier in person- I always have a hard time photographing gold.
Hope you will join us in this fun challenge!
