Wonderful Wednesday!

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a few things I made for some Birthday Bash challenges at Turtle Soup.
I used Fancy pants Timbergrove for this Christmas card:

I added some rub-ons to the teal cardstock to give it a bit more pizzazz. I also added some Stickles to the snowflake and of coarse, I can't create without stitching:)

The second thing I created was a gift bag. I took a kraft gift bag I had lying around and added some papers and embellies to it. I used Fancy Pants Saint Nick and came up with this cute bag:

Have a fabulous day!

Be Awesome!

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for Creative Embellishments July challenge. I love their chipboard and decided to use a cattail piece on this layout of Austin at the lake:

Here are some close ups:
I used Simple Stories So Rad for this page
I used a TCW Stencil, some ink, negative punched pieces and a Creative Embellishment wood veneer sun colored with a Gelato here:

I layered some bits and pieces of the So Rad papers from the 6x6 paper pad and added watercolors, stitching and stamping to my background:

I used a frame from the So Rad collection and the "Awesome" diecut is from that too:

Here you can see more of my background work:

This is the cattail piece I used from Creative Embellishments. I added texture paste to give lots of dimension and then colored with Gelatos and paint:

I love how it turned out! The other part of the challenge was to inspired by this photo:

I was inspired by the brown, white and greens in this photo.

Bunting

Hey there!
It's my day to post the Tuesday Trigger challenge over at MS&M. Our themes this month are: July Celebrations, red, white & blue, stars or patriotic. I chose stars for my layout and used Amy Tangerine Plus One along with a star cut file.

I used an orange Gelato and colored the cut file and then added a little water with my finger:

I used an Amy tangerine frame to frame one of my photos. The "My" stickers are from my stash as well as the baseball, which I tucked some thread behind.

I used some Thickers for my title and the arrows are fussy cut from one of the Amy Tangerine papers. I finished the layout off with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mist spatters.

Have a wonderful day!

Cheeseheads

Hey there! Happy Friday!
There's a new sketch up over at My Scraps & More Sketches today.
My entire family are DIE HARD PACKER FANS but not so much so on Greg's side, LOL! When Tom and Chris gave Greg back this cheese head (he had bought this for Ruth years ago) while we were in Chicago for Steve's wedding. It was perfect timing, since the Packers played the Bears the next day! Of coarse, we had to pose for a family pic before going into church:)

Any who, I used My Scraps & More Sketch #110 along with Basic Grey Prism. Let me tell you, it has been many years since I bought Basic Grey. I used to love it and then not so much. But this line has me sold once again on BG! Love it!

Besides the BG Prism, I used a variety of stickers for my words. I also used watercolors and mists on my background including Heidi Swapp Coral and Black Velvet for my spatters. I also used sketch #110 from the Sketch Blog.
Here are some close ups:
I cut the word "cheese" and some circles on my Cameo. The circles I added watercolor and used a marker for the stitching. I added some Thickers and Making Memories mini alphas to complete my title:

I also cut the thin pie charts and backed them with different patterned papers. I used Bella Blvd Enamel Doodads and some of the acetates from the Prism line:

Actually, I included the story behind this cheese head here in my journaling:

Here is the sketch by Juliana Michaels:

Feeling Sketchy

Hey there!
It's the 15th of the month. That means a new sketch is up over on the Feeling Sketchy blog.
I used a Hero Arts stencil & Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create my background. Them I embossed some dragonflies. My scalloped circle was created adding washi tapes to white cardstock and then punching. A few fun new techniques I have been trying.

Now go to the blog and check out the sketch!
