One More

One more post for me today.
I used a sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap for this layout of me holding tomatoes from our garden last summer. I used Studio Calico South of the Market and came up with this:

Some close ups:

I used watercolors to color the wood veneers.

I fussy cut the mason jars.  I also fussy cut the apples and made them into tomatoes:)

Here is the sketch:

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Sketch-N-Scrap

Happy Saturday!
Any plans for the day?
I am just popping in real quick to share a card I created using a sketch for inspiration from Sketch-N-Scrap.

I decided to make a Christmas card since December will be here before we know it and I make all my cards. I used AC Peppermint Express:

Love that cute gingerbread man!

Typical Summer Day

Happy Friday!
This layout was inspired by a scrappy friend. She had posted on the My Scraps & More forum awhile back about doing a Day In Your Life page. I was hoping to do one for the school year, when I work, but that hasn't happened yet. This one is based on a typical summer day, hence the title. I used  LGS sketch week 4 and this is what I came up with:

I used Simples Stories Daily Grind. The paper on the left was perfect, since it had every hour on it.

I fussy cut the alarm clock and the Wednesday card and added some thin pie charts cut from my Cameo.
Close up of the title:

I took pictures throughout the day and created a mini matchbook album to put them in:

I layered lots of stickers and embellies on my page.

Love this photo of Austin and I walking Bender and made it the main focus:

Here is the matchbook open:

Have you ever done one of these?

Here is the sketch that I used:

Enjoy your day!

Mini Crop

Good Friday morning!
Turtle Soup is having a mini crop. Every month they have one! You should check them out!
I created a few cards for the challenges.
My first one was created for Ginni's monochromatic:
I embossed some white cardstock and added some Heidi Swap mistable flower and heart. The clear acetate heart border has been in my stash for quite some time.

This second card was created for my son's birthday. I created my own background using a stencil and some inks. I used mostly Crate Paper items. The challenge was to use the colors blue, brown and gold:

Hey there!
Today is my son's 16th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!
In honor of his birthday, I am sharing a layout I created of him and I on Mother's Day. I used a Scrap Our Stash sketch and Amy Tangerine Cut & Paste and some Elle's Studios embellies:

I used my Cameo to cut the hearts:

added some paint spatters and a circle stitched with black thread:

One more close up;

The second part of the challenge was to create a card with your left over scraps. Here is my very simple card:

Beauty

One more post to share with you today.
This layout is not one of my favs, as a matter of fact I don't like it. But the photos are scrapped and the story is told. So I guess that's all that matters.
I created this layout using a Sketch-N-Scrap sketch along with some Simple Stories and a challenge at Turtle Soup:

Here are a few close ups:

Hope you have a great day!

MS&M Sketch #108

Happy Friday Peeps!
There is a new sketch up over at My Scraps & More Sketches today!
I used AC Shimele True Story for this layout of Austin on his birthday last year. We were camping and it was dark when I took these pics, so they aren't the best quality :(

Here are some close ups:
