Fun Card!

As promised, here is the card I created using a sketch at Let's Capture Our Memories:

For my card, I used a Hero Arts Stencil. I just got this and wanted to try it out! I applied Glass Beads through the stencil and removed the stencil. I immediately sprayed with 2 different colors of mists. I love the look! I added some twine, a few embellies and I was done.

Here is the card sketch:

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Let's Capture Our Memories

Hey Scrappy Peeps!
Hope you are having a great weekend!
I had some scrappy time this morning and decided to play along with a few sketch challenges at Let's Capture Our Memories.

For my layout I used Echo Park Scoot along with some older photos of Sierra we found at Greg's Mom's after she died.

I cut strips of the blue paper and stitched to add a frame to the outer edge of my page.

These stickers were perfect!

I hand cut triangles and stitched in place. I also added some of the negative pieces from cutting the triangles. And the cute fire truck sticker matched the haircutting cape.

I cut the top part of the journaling block off (I love you more everyday), popped it with foam tape and put it back on towards the bottom of the block. This sketch was perfect to add the twine.
Here is the sketch:

I will be sharing my card here shortly in a separate post.

I am so excited to share my layout with you! I loved working with the Pie Chart Love cut file and it was so easy to use!

Here is what I came up with using the Pie Chart Love cut file along with Dear Lizzy Serendipity line:

I also used a card from Crate Papers Notes & Things for one of the layers behind my photo and a few of the gold embellies from Pink Paislee Solstice:

I added some turquoise water color to parts of the cut file:

I also added bits of washi tape here and there:

I love the soft colors in these paper lines and paired them with a black and white photo of my son to really make the photo "pop".
