I used red watercolor on the background, but it turned out pink, but I think it still looked ok, lol!

Friends

Happy Sunday Scrappy Friends!

Up on the Just Imagine Blog today we have our monthly reveal. Our theme this month is Mother's Day, Girl Friends or Women.

I chose to do a layout about Sierra and her friends. I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #305 for my border, pleated it and then stitched it. I added the negative piece to the top of my layout and then took the same punch, along with the Star Stencil to create the doily:

Here is a close up of the doily:

                                                                        Pleated border:

Using the negative piece, or throw away piece for the top border:

May Flowers

Hello and happy Monday!
Today we have a new challenge up on the Cards In Envy Blog.
The challenge is May flowers.
Please make sure your card is an A2 card (4.25" x 5.5" and that card is relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")

I embossed the top blue paper. I stamped the flowers and then used watercolors to paint them. It's hard to see, but I added Stickles to the centers of the flowers. I finished it off with some twine and a SRM sticker (Get Well) and added some rub-on letters that have been in my stash for many years:

Hope you will join in the fun and play along with us!

Sea Life

Hey There!

I added some watercolor to my background, fussy cut some fish and added some Thickers and a sticker to hold my journaling:

Here's today's fun sketch:

Hope you have a wonderful Monday!

Happy Saturday!

It's my day up on the Just Imagine Blog today and I want to share my card here as well.
I created this card for a challenge last month at Turtle Soup.
I used Kreaxions Punch #604 (butterfly). I cut strips of patterned papers and punched them with the punch. I adhered the strip of paper with the negative of the butterfly to my card base. BTW, this is a great way to use up those small scraps of patterned paper you have laying around. I then took 3 of the punched butterflies and added them to my sentiment block, super easy!

Here is my card:

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
