One more layout

Good afternoon! I have one more layout to share that I did for the True XOXO Scrapbooking Blog Hop! I loved Emma's Prima Paintables and have had these in my stash for a very long time, I almost took them to the LSS's garage sale, and so glad I didn't! I had a blast painting it and love the outcome of my layout! Thanks for the inspiration Emma!
I used Raechelle's October 10th sketch at My Scraps and More along with the new Sidewalks line by October Afternoon. Love this line!
The photo was one my DD took at lunch with her cell phone, so it's not the greatest, but I still wanted to scrap it for the every day moments in her life.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs!

Finally Some Scrappy Time!

With Greg being on call this last weekend (and getting called in) I found a lot of scrapping time, FINALLY! I almost got caught up on all the sketches for the sketch-a-thon at My Scraps & More and did a blog hop at True XOXO Scrapbooking along with some of their challenges.
Here are the layouts I did:
My first layout was a lift of my good friend, Lisa Watson at XOXO. I love her work and loved her sample layout on her blog!
Mr Lazy was inspired by one of my favorite songs, The Lazy Song and by Jaclyn's challenge on her blog. I used a sketch by Tracy at My Scraps & More:
For my layout Teaching Spoons, I used a sketch by Janelle at My Scraps & More and used Khristen's challenge off her blog to use a child's artwork on a layout:
For this layout I used a sketch by Tammi at My Scraps & More and also took Alaina's challenge on her blog and used a chevron on my layout:
I have another layout almost done, but who knows when I will have time to finish it... hoping tomorrow morning before work.
Have a great day!
Thanks for all the inspiration ladies!

Homecoming, 2011

The girls that I work with and I decided to make a float for the Homecoming parade this year, we had so much fun making it and had even more fun throwing candy to the kids last night!
Just wanted to share a few pics today:
Austin and his school spirit, we had to go to Walmart Wednesday night and get him orange and black

A few layouts from Scrap It To Win It

Hello! The kids don't have school today, so that means a day off for me!
Just wanted to share a few layouts I made for the Scrap It To Win It Sketch-a-thon going on at My Scraps & More. Every week day in October, Tammi and the design team are posting a sketch, if you love sketches this is the place to be this month! Lots of fun, games and prizes!
This layout was created with the 10/5 sketch and the challenge to go along with it: scrap a holiday.
This layout is the sketch for 10/4:
and this layout I created using my sketch I posted on 10/11 and my challenge was to use a grid on your layout.
There's plenty of time to catch up on all the sketches, you have until November 6th to post them. So what are you waiting for? Come join the fun!

Wanted to share a quick layout.

Hello! I just wanted to share a quick layout since it's been awhile.
The Scrap It To Win It sketch-a-thon started on Monday at My Scraps & More and goes to the end of the month. A new sketch is posted on weekdays with a challenge to go with it!
I posted a sketch on Monday and just wanted to share my layout with you.
I used an older Scrapdango kit for this volleyball layout of Sierra. I just love these papers from the Twig line by LYB.
